SYNOPSIS

A small village in England, 1858.  A giant shoe that serves as an orphanage is being inherited by a woman who has spent her life in the Royal Army.  Her intention to close the orphanage is undermined by circumstances she faces upon arrival.   A resident clown, the neighborhood busy body, a corrupt building inspector, a dizzy prince-charming and eight irresistible orphans create a poignant and wildly entertaining story of desertion, the struggle of duty verses desire, and finding your place in the world, as the Major wrestles with her inner demons to find her rightful destiny.
